Obama has congratulated Greece on being one of only five NATO members to meet the requirement for a member country to spend at least 2% of its GDP on defence.
The five countries according to figures based on 2010 prices and exchange rates:
- US 3.61%
- Greece 2.38%
- UK 2.21%
- Estonia 2.16%
- Poland 2%
